What is something in your personal practice that you feel is required for you to be successful on the path?
Prayer and Meditation. I consult with deity daily and wait for answers. I follow what the Gods tell me, and I feel confident that the path will unfold as they wish. Being a priestess to me means being in service to the Gods. Prayer and meditation help me know what they are asking of me. I start with a daily devotional invoking the Gods to join me throughout my day. Then, just like with a best friend, I check in often.
What is the most important mistake you ever made?
Falling in love with someone 17 years younger than me at a pagan festival while I had three children in elementary school. But, without Dusty as my working partner, and husband, I probably would have never developed the relationship I had with Pete Davis. By Dusty encouraging me to call Pete every week, Pete and I developed a teacher/student relationship, which led to me becoming Archprietess. I also wouldn't have been nearly as happy, supported and fulfilled in what I'm doing today. I didn't mean to fall in love with Dusty, and I don't think he meant to fall in love with me. Here we are twenty years later and we're both pretty happy that we did.
